5 useless Android apps that will cost you Rs 26,000

Twenty-six thousand rupees is a considerable amount of money. Perhaps not to spend on the latest smartphone or a gaming console but we are pretty sure that there will be consensus on this: Rs 26,000 is a lot of money to spend on an app. Still, there are apps which cost Rs 26,000. Back in 2015, Google had increased the limit on what can be charged for an app or to Rs 26,000 from previous limit of Rs 16,000. Surely, an app worth Rs 26,000 has to be worthy of doing something, no? Apparently not. Spending Rs 26,000 on an app will get you, well absolutely nothing. Here are 5 such apps listed on the Play Store that don't do anything but exist:

The Most Expensive App (Im Rich) - Rs 26,000
This is the "status symbol" amongst the apps. Like people buy a particular car to match their "status", this app tells you that you're "rich." How does it do that? It gets you a diamond. No, not a real diamond but a picture of diamond on the home screen of your phone. Listed on the Play Store in December 2013, the app bizarrely has been downloaded anywhere between 100-500 times.

The Most Expensive Application - Rs 26,000
We think this is our favourite most "expensive" app. The description claims that the app can "change the entire universe". Think that's where the hilarity ends? It further reads, "I promise your application will help save the babies and maybe even a few fully grown babies. This application allows you to warp into the future just a little bit." Is it a medical related app? Or does it miraculously enable time travel? It came as no surprise that the app has so far seen zero downloads but was last updated in July 2016. Thank heavens for small mercies.

I Am Rich - Rs 26,000

Yet another app which just exists and costs a fortune. This is a "show-off" app which is for "rich people who think that I am rich enough to purchase this app." Totally absurd description but this app has over 10,000 downloads. Developed by App Vriksh, there is also a "I am Rich Pro" version listed on the App Store. How much does that cost? It's free. We are guessing to be a "Pro Rich", you don't need to spend a penny. Better to be Pro Rich than just rich.

Most expensive app in 3d - Rs 26,000

This is like Kamaal R Khan making a film in 3D - it remains as useless as it was in 2D. The app has 3D high-resolution of planet earth and reads Honor and Dignity. The 3D app boasts in description that "users are buying this app knowing that this woul do nothing". It also says that by purchasing this app you anonymously help "someone for a greater cause" We just hope that someone isn't Kamaal R Khan.
